One-pan Shakshuka

Eggs poached in a vibrant, spiced tomato-pepper sauce — a one-pan wonder from North Africa.

Let's make it.

    Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet. Sauté diced onion and bell pepper until softened (5 min).

  2. 02

    Add minced garlic, cumin, paprika, and chili flakes. Cook until fragrant (1 min).

    Pour in crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.

    Make 6 wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each.

    Cover and cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until the whites are set but yolks are still runny.

    Crumble feta over the top, scatter fresh cilantro, and serve straight from the pan with crusty bread.
