YolkStead uses the information you provide to connect local egg buyers, sellers, and poultry farmers in Takoradi and Sunyani.

Accounts and business profiles

Accounts store your name, email address, a password hash, and session records. An essential session cookie keeps you signed in. Seller profiles include business contact details, an address, coordinates, delivery areas, and inventory. Admins review seller applications. Business names and prices may appear in the shop; business phone numbers are shared with assigned buyers.

Orders and optional location

Checkout collects your name, email, Ghanaian phone number, delivery city, address, and order details. These are shared with the assigned seller and marketplace admins for fulfilment. If you choose to share device location, the coordinates are stored with your order and used to estimate nearby sellers. Without it, matching uses the city centre. Orders and account data are stored using Cloudflare D1.

Payment on delivery

No payment is taken online. This launch does not collect card, bank account, or Mobile Money payment credentials. Sellers record order completion and payment collection in their workspace.

Newsletter and browser preferences

Newsletter signup stores your email and consent; it does not send an automated message. Your basket, saved recipes, delivery city, and display preference are saved in your browser. You can remove these by clearing local browser data. Guest order links provide access to order status; keep them private.

Questions and requests

Contact your assigned seller for delivery questions. The marketplace operator must publish its business identity, privacy contact, and data retention policy before the public launch so you can request account or data removal.
